Cat Lane

Cat Lane is a bespoke residential development comprising two contemporary detached homes located in the village of Stadhampton, positioned within close proximity to Oxford and the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside.

Designed with a strong focus on modern construction methods, energy efficiency, and long-term performance, the scheme incorporated SIPs construction, air source heat pumps, solar integration, underfloor heating, and upgraded insulation measures throughout. The objective was to create highly efficient homes combining strong thermal performance, airtightness, and contemporary architectural design.

Particular attention was given to internal layout planning, natural light, and creating flexible family living spaces suited to modern lifestyles. High-specification kitchens, bathrooms, and integrated technologies were carefully combined with clean architectural detailing and durable materials to create homes that balance luxury with practicality and long-term usability.

As with all Barar Homes developments, the project was actively managed throughout procurement and delivery, with close attention paid to build quality, construction detailing, and overall consistency of finish. The use of SIPs construction also formed part of a wider focus on improving programme efficiency, building performance, and long-term operational durability.
