Coppice Gardens

Completed in 2021, Coppice Gardens comprises seven four-bedroom family homes arranged around a private residential setting in Stokenchurch.

The scheme was designed around generous family accommodation, landscaped gardens and private driveways, while incorporating a level of energy performance and specification that went beyond conventional development standards at the time.

Each home incorporated air source heat pumps, solar generation, underfloor heating and electric vehicle charging alongside integrated kitchens, carefully specified bathrooms and connected home technology.

Rather than treating energy efficiency as an additional feature, the systems were integrated into the design and specification from the outset.

Coppice Gardens established many of the design and delivery principles that continue to influence Barar Homes developments.
